When I was 8 years old my family moved to Tucson, Arizona to plant Desert Springs Baptist Church. Many different churches supported us financially so we could do what God had called us to do. Last week I had the blessing of presenting my ministry to Ireland in two of the churches that supported my family all those years ago. It was very special to share with them about the impact their missions support has had in my life in the past, and the opportunity we have to do even more for the Lord together in the future. I was able to preach, teach Sunday school, sing, and I even had the opportunity to speak to the Spanish ministry through an interpreter. I am thankful to be leaving Arizona with new ministry partners!
Update from Ireland
The ministries there are continuing to grow, and they are excited and ready for me to be there. I was texting with the Irish pastor I will be partnering with and he told me they are having a problem that not many churches in Ireland have to deal with: they are running out of space for everybody! In May I’ll be traveling back over to Ireland and we will be looking at some possibilities to increase the space for Sunday school and children’s ministry. It’s a good prob- lem to have, and I am excited to get over there and to get to work!
